This blog is managed by Edith Landrith-Robertson and Michael Robertson. Edith is a retired architect who has worked in both the public and private sector. Her last employer was the City of Oakland where she was a project manager in the Department of Public Works. Michael Robertson is a professor in the Media Studies Department at the University of San Francisco where he directs the journalism program. Before USF, he was a writer/editor at the San Francisco Chronicle. They have lived in Oakland since 1980.
