That is, last Saturday one of the vendors at the Grand Lake Market told my wife that he heard that Ken Katz recently said that the effort to dislodge AIM is about to succeed. In the next two or three days, I'll be checking that boast out - where it was made and how it was phrased - and we'll have some fresh content on this blog.
The good news is that we - and others - have collected nearly 1,000 signatures in support of AIM's continued management of the market. The online petition could use a boost so please circulate the link
This blog has a single purpose: to insure that the Grand Lake Farmers Market continues to thrive. We are convinced that much of its success is owed to the Agricultural Institute of Marin, which has managed the market since its inception. We support their continued role in the face of challenges from some in the neighborhood.
